Hey there, thank you for popping by and welcome to Living by Faith in Christ Blog written by Lelo.
The purpose of this space:
- This space will be used to express and document my pain points, growth moments, Kingdom Principled revelations in business, Christ centric growth and more.
- I hope that this information will help you as much as it is helping me grow in my journey to living Kingdom, finding my passion, running my businesses and personal growth.
A note about me:
I live under the peace, the guidance of Jesus Christ and base my life, marriage, children, writing, businesses and growth on the word of the Lord and one of the scriptures I’ve grown to love is (Jeremiah 29: 11-14 ERV).
“I say this because I know the plans that I have for you.” This message is from the Lord. “I have good plans for you. I don’t plan to hurt you. I plan to give you hope and a good future. Then you will call my name. You will come to me and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will search for me, and when you search for me with all your heart, you will find me. I will let you find me.” This message is from the Lord. “And I will bring you back from your captivity. I forced you to leave this place. But I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have sent you,” says the Lord, “and I will bring you back to this place.” (Jeremiah 29: 11-14 ERV)
What the scripture means:
- The Lord knows the plans He has for us, we may try to use our plans, however if we don’t consult with God and align our will with His will, we are saying we got it and He doesn’t.
- It is when we understand that only He knows the plans He has for us that we may approach His throne and pray (asking for His will to align with ours as stated above).
- It may take time for us to know His will in our lives and that is when I seek Him (remember and look for Him in all He has done for us); What has the Lord done for you in the past, what good has He done for you?
- Bear in mind that He will help us remember because He wants us to find Him, He wants us to remember Him and He wants us to rely on Him
What does God’s will look like?1
- The advancement of His Kingdom (Danial 2:44)
- His glorification (1 Corinthians 10:31)
- The salvation and sanctification of His children (us) through His Son, Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:9)
Some things you may want to consider:
- We can do all this by using our notebooks or journals to write down all that we remember
- Identify what glorifies the Lord, what pleases Him?
- Are you saved? Have you accepted that you are saved through Jesus?
Many times and years I have tried in failure to be in control of my plans and future and through this blog I aim to remain in the path the Lord is taking me through. I am not perfect but I do serve a perfect God through Christ Jesus.
